There have been inhabitans in our courtyard in 17th century. Our house was built by Henrik Sovelius, who was a parliament member, merchant and shipowner, during time of sailing boats. Raahe is famous of it´s history as sailing boat fleet during 19th century.

In the back of our courtyard there is a large shed, where used to be a brewery and brewerist lived there. Nowadays we have a nice cafe in there. You can sit down with a cafe and enjoy old courtyard in the heart of old town.

Our customers feel like they are in countryside, but next to city centre.
